When shopping turns into a shopping disorder

to make myself happy?

Was there something deep routed that was bothering me so much that the only thing that would get me out of thinking about it, that only shopping would shift?

This led me to thinking about how one becomes addicted to shopping and spending amounts of money! And in the end when things in your life are different and you are feeling happy about every aspect of your life, what happens when the shopping stops?

This brought me back to when i first me Graeme, young , not so single anymore, happy and a lot of money reaching m bank account every month, i continued to shop in just the same way i did before, and on this happened until we decided to take the next inevitable step in a serious relationship, moving in together.

And to say the least at that moment in time and for about a year after that, shopping and feelings i had before that had been replaced by feelings of love and pride not only that i was in the best relationship ever but that i was a 18 year old with a fantastic house of my own and a great life.

This was all good and well, but when is it that the shopping or need of shopping starts to creep back in, was it that after so long the feelings of love and pride of my relationship could only sustain my inner feelings for so long and at some point in life they would start to surface once more and i would again have to face up to them, and that i believe is when the need for shopping became once more.

I now believe that the answer to the question..... is fashion just something we enjoy or are we using fashion as a block to stop us thinking about what is wrong in our lives? Is YES.
