With modern building today houses are much closer; with this comes an increase in glass creating a blend with outdoors and the luxury of the indoors creating a feeling of spaciousness and freedom. Most window tinting is installed professionally, however there are applications for the DIY person known as static cling, which is installed using water and a squeegee. Today's applications are also mostly scratch resistant and generally come with a 15 year lifetime guarantee.
