Getting paid to play non-gambling games online

If you haven't discovered tournamentgames.com, give them a try. Although they lack variety, about six card games and one billiard game (this has a variety of billiard games), the site gives you $10 in credits to play with as you like. Well, I enjoy shooting pool and I'm a decent shot, so I naturally began with the billiard game.

There are a variety of entry fees per game, from one free slot (which pays nada too) all the way to one dollar. Let's say you spent a nickel of that ten dollars to play, well if you gain the most points, you can win from $1.50 to $3.50, depending on the type of game and other factors. And winnings rise all the way to $70.00, but this amount will be split between the top five players. So, for a dollar you could win $35.00 or the full seventy if you have the top five spots.

And the billiard graphics are outstanding. I checked out other online billiard games, such as 8ballclub.com, and there's no comparison. There are no distracting advertisements either. What's the catch? Learning how to play quick without scratching, which costs you points, and learning how the strategy of the games work.

I made the mistake of thinking I could jump right in and be top dog, spending most of that initial ten dollars, but you have to remember there are others wanting to win too. And technically, you don't play another opponent, but you are competing for the most points. At this time, I've won back a total of $2.37, but I'm down to two cents credit; I don't get paid until the first of the month so I'm going to wait. I think it's worth ten dollars a month to try and win more back, so I've been playing the free games for practice.

As aforementioned, I haven't played the card games, but if they're anything like the pool tournaments, it'd be worth a look. Anyway, tournamentgames.com gives you $10 credit to start with, so what's there to lose?
