I KNOW ONLY BUSINESS:

Business is my passion. Right from my childhood I was getting involved in small business activities as my family was engaged in production and marketing. My parents are master weavers and they produced beautiful hand loom saris. My mother had some expertise in yarn dyeing and my father in managing weavers for production of dress materials with fine cotton yarns and silks. My brothers managed the sales and marketing up to the borders of Kashmir. As a small boy I could get a first hand knowledge in all aspects of a small enterprise.

LEARNED BUSINESS:

In course of time, we were having a grocery store with a variety of goods including stationeries, where I could learn a lot of things about commercial brands. Out of my interest, during the school days, once I put a temporary stall also in a local weekly market to sell school note books to students.

STUDIED AGRICULTURE:

I studied agriculture to a post graduate level with a focus on commercial farming especially floriculture. My six years of college studies on agriculture and horticulture made me imbibe a variety of subject matters including civil and mechanical engineering.

BECAME THE ADVISER:

When took the career of an agricultural field officer in a bank, I gained knowledge on financial matters related to small rural farmers on the plain and as well planters on the tea, coffee and cardamom estates. When my brothers tried, I helped them with my knowledge on sericulture and poultry too. I looked after industrial and commercial financing also as an acting branch manager of the bank.

I was a technical and financial adviser to agriculturists, planters and small businessmen to promote their businesses.

EXPERIENCED AS ENTREPRENEUR:

I simply resigned from banking service after 10 years of service just to know the thrill of being unemployed and also being a small business entrepreneur. I started experiencing and learning a variety of things both as bottle necks and successes in my business life which I later wanted to pass on to all enterprising youth.

GUIDE TO ENTREPRENEURS:

Naturally it has become my way of life to offer lectures on business management with a special focus on ENERGO CYBERNETIC STRATEGY-EKS, a German Success formula for all business activities. I delivered more than 200 speeches on business strategy for success to the trainees of Entrepreneur Development Programs.
