Tips for raising successful children

We as human beings , have enormous potential that we don't know about. Positive thoughts must be implanted in children from a young age, preferably around three years, as their minds are easily molded at this young age, and they find it easier to succeed in life, even with setbacks and difficulties.

Parents need to take an active part in their child's life and motivate them to succeed and persevere in life, regardless of what life throws at us. The mind is a very powerful tool, and if used properly can move mountains. Here are some tips that parents should impart to their children, on positive thinking and see to it that they are practicing it on a daily basis, to get the desired results.

- Children should learn to visualize all their goals and ambitions in a concentrated and
clear cut image.
- They should get up every morning, starting the day with a chant or mantra, for example
"I am a successful individual, who will aspire the best that I can be throughout my life"
- They should not be DE-motivated by failures, but persevere to try harder OT succeed.
- They should always entertain positive thoughts and not give way to negative thoughts, as
slows down a person's motivation or desire to succeed, and what we keep telling ourselves we
eventually become. This is the law of thought.
"What a man thinks, so he shall reap."
- Children should be taught to respond well to positive and negative criticism, and learn
from their mistakes. They should always examine where they have gone wrong and try to
rectify the problem.
- They should not be pushed into doing too many things at once, but given space to decide
what lights up their passion in life.
- Children should be introduced to healthy competition, not obsessing about winning but
accepting defeat.
- They should be taught to calm their anger at a Yong age, as this emotion only leads
to problems later on. A good way is counting or walking out of the problem area.
Also releasing anger by blowing balloons and clenching fists is a great help.
- Get children involved in sporting or leisure activities as this calms the mind and
mental nerves.

As adults it is out responsibility to bring our the best in children and if they succeed as successful adults, it would only be good for them. Parents, need to be guarded about expecting too much from their kids, and they need to accept them with their flaws as well.
