George Bernard Shaw once said that "Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself." And according to Henri Matisse, "Creativity takes courage." What happens when you have lost your courage, potentially leading to a lost sense of creativity, which therefore inevitably leads to feeling rather lost within yourself?
Robert Louis Stevenson believes that "Life is not a matter of holding good cards, but of playing a poor hand well." What happens when it's just too hard to play anymore? Sometimes it becomes very difficult to see your way through the daily obligations. Let's face it, life gets in the way often, and prevents anyone of us from being able to focus our energy and courage on creative endeavours. What we need is a little inspiration.
Frank Tibolt wrote, "We should be taught not to wait for inspiration to start a thing. Action always generates inspiration. Inspiration seldom generates action." Or perhaps, inspiration comes from snuggling upon the couch with the love of your life. "Love isn't the person you can see yourself with. It's the person you can't see yourself without. Anon. A big fat hug goes a long way to fuel your courage once more. Franklin P. Jones wrote that although "Love doesn't make the world go 'round." Love is what makes the ride worthwhile." This is one of my favourite quotes. A partnership is inspiring. It is enough to entice you to play your poor hand of cards well. They can pick you up if you should fall, yet those same people
