God willing, I hope to achieve many things in my lifetime. However there are a few things that I really would like to do before I am called to heaven.
1) I want to graduate college with my Master's Degree. Due to a lot of roadblocks in my life, most being financial, my college education keeps getting put on the back burner. I am thirty years old and slowly but surely putting away at those credits. I hope to one-day graduate with not only my Bachelors degree in Business, but my Master's degree as well. I want my three children to see me walk across that stage so that they can see how I did not give up on my education.
2) I want to travel to Italy. I would really like to see where my grandmother emigrated from and learn the culture of a country where I have roots. I have never been to Europe, so a trip to Italy would be fascinating, enlightening, and peaceful.
3) I want to get involved in my church again. I grew up in the church. I was in Sunday school for as long as I can remember and I was in the church choir and a faithful member. As I got older, I slowly gravitated away from the church. I really want to find a new church in my new state and become a member again.
4) I want to visit all fifty states. I want to travel to each state and see the features that make them all unique. I want to learn the history behind each and every state in our country.
5) I want to be financially secure. I do not want to have to worry about bills or how I am going to pay for my children's education.
6) Have a big wedding. I was married in a quickie ceremony to save money. I would like to have a lavish wedding with the beautiful dress that all girls dream of when they are a child.
7) I want to be a grandmother. Of course this is not up to me, however I have a son and I have twin daughters, so I am hoping one of them gift me the gift of being a grandparent. I would really love if one of my twins were blessed with twins. It would be heaven if I were a grandmother of twins.
8) Talk to my grandmother. My grandmother passed away, however I have not had the strength to go to her gravesite. I know when I get there I will cry and let out too much emotion. I miss her deeply. I want to be strong enough to visit her grave and just sit down and talk to her.
9) Donate money. Other than small donations here and there, I have not been able to donate much. I want to give away enough money to change someone's life or turn around an organization.
10) I want to be a contestant on a game show. I really want to be a contestant on The Price Is Right. I have watched that show for years and it has been a dream of mine to hear my name to "come on down!".
Even if I do not achieve any of these lifelong goals, I am just happy to be blessed with what I have achieved. Other than the smile on my children's face, that is what makes my life fulfilling.
