I have not felt any feelings of sorrow for Hillary now or ever before. It seems to me that she has chosen each path and consequence that has come her way. When her husband chose to commit adultery during their marriage over and over, she turned the other way. Instead of refusing to be treated with disrespect, she chose to tolerate it. Many feel she did this to hold together their political face, even after being humiliated for the world to see from the lies of her husband to her.

When 9-11 happened, she chose to embellish her story about her daughter. She stated that Chelsea was caught directly in the disaster, having to run for cover into a cafe during a jog as the towers crumbled. Then it was revealed by Chelsea's roommate that Chelsea had been asleep the whole time and had to be woken up to watch the news reports.

Now she finds herself again embellishing yet another story. She told the nation her version of her trip to Bosnia. Yet recorded history revealed again to the public that the stories she tells are not true. The battle was not on the tarmac of the runway Hillary landed on though; it was far from the security she was surrounded with by forces protecting her.

My husband was serving in Bosnia with the United States Army during her visit there in what she called a war zone; Yet her husband, the President at the time, referred to as a conflict because there was no hand to hand combat if you heard Bill Clinton tell it. The truth is it that my husband and his fellow soldiers faced enemy fire and hand to hand combat encounters in Bill Clinton's "conflict" in Bosnia many times.

It seems that Bill needed it to be termed as a "conflict" to be able to send our troops to a foreign land and skip calling it a war in order to avoid barriers from the Legislature. In doing this, he also was able to keep military benefits from many families who only are entitled to these if a war is declared.

Hillary called this a war in order to create a scenario that would boost her image in her mind and in the public's image of her that she has experience as a foreign policy maker. She was attempting to give herself credentials that she does not have. If she had these credentials already, she would not have had to "misspeak" as she has said. She has already tried to buff up her resume as a potential presidential candidate more than once and this was just another ill-fated attempt that has damaged her reputation and credibility even further. I don't feel sorry for her for this. With the choice she made to "misspeak", she has to take the consequences of her actions.

The fact is that the Clintons seem to have a pattern of blurring the truth, no matter if they are talking about their daughter or trying to smooth something over or to embellish whom they wish they could be.

Do I feel sorry for Hillary? No, but Chelsea maybe should have that sympathy from us because we all know you can't choose your parents.
