Hillary Clinton has misrepresented herself as a mouthpiece for liberated women. She never got a divorce from her philandering husband, had led a very privileged life, and cannot possibly expect Feminists to back her. I'm a Republican, and I have always felt sorry for her because she is a lost soul.
There are many, many women who are capable of being Commander-In-Chief, so I think we can lay down the argument that she is scheduled to be the first woman President. Can you imagine the power plays that she and Michelle Obama would endure as the First Male Gentleman (?) takes his unrightful place as the new Vice-President. Should Obama be the Vice-President in the formal sense, certainly Bill would be in his face all the time. How awful for everyone.
Hillary is experiencing "The Rude Awakening", called becoming a mature adult. It is a time when former dreams of glory suddenly mean absolutely nothing. The one person she thought she could rely on, to get her the Office has proven to be a big-mouthed, over-bearing disappointment. No, Hillary, everyone, including the mythical female audience, is not in love with your husband. I personally don't like abusive men. He disrespected the honor of the Office, and he won't get another chance, sorry.
We all have had our dreams. Reality is fast becoming her new friend. I'm sorry she wasted so much time trying to change people so they can be just like her. I don't want her life, her choices, her husband, or her medical plan. She wants to use her gender to facilitate the female vote, but then becomes the token passive wife with her inability to confront and solve her husband's immoral behavior. This is not a leader makes.
I feel sorry for her only because she has to grow up so painfully in the public eye. I cannot believe she thought she could get away with her story about being shot at upon her arrival in Bosnia. Once again, she has her devoted soldier, Chelsea, to use to attempt to pull at maternal heart-strings of the woman voter. I would never have dragged my daughter around with me if there was the slightest possibility of any harm being done to her. Now her daughter has to explain her dad's poor choices of behavior, and not just her mother's. Shame on the Clintons.
