The Bible tells the story of Adam and Eve, not Adam and Edward. That said, leaving aside the religious aspect of the debate, it should be clear to everyone that homosexuality is not natural. Nature has designed the male and female sexual organs to fit snugly and pleasurably together. Male to male congress goes against the grain, as it were. (Work that one out for yourselves, I'm not drawing pictures). As for female homosexuality, what fits where, may I ask?
Homosexuality is not natural, it's different, and while I respect the rights of people to live their own lives as they see fit, I object to being told that a minority way of life is just the same as everyone else's, when there are incontrovertible physical reasons why homosexuality can never be considered natural.
If homosexuality is a natural act, why does it take a man and a woman to produce a child naturally? I know these days there are turkey basters, test tubes, drugs and all sorts of other things to overturn the natural reproductive cycle, but these methods are nothing to do with nature. This is man's way of circumventing nature to suit his own needs.
It's only in recent years that same sex couples have been able to 'marry,' The institution of marriage has been around for millennia, but all of a sudden, it isn't just between a man and a woman, for the procreation of children. These days, you can have bride and groom, bride and bride, or groom and groom. Confused? You should be!
I have no desire to return to the days when homosexuality was a crime punishable by imprisonment, but, despite the vociferousness of the gay lobby, it should be remembered that homosexual relationships are in a minority. We should not allow ourselves to be persuaded that this way of life is as natural as heterosexual marriages and relationships. In my opinion, homosexual behaviour is sinful for one main reason. This is gratification for its own sake, rather than a step on the road to family life. Yes, sex should be enjoyable, but it should also be part of a committed relationship, otherwise we are no better than animals.
You may point out to me that homosexuals can enjoy a committed relationship as well as heterosexuals. My response would be that a committed relationship between members of the same sex is not and never can be a natural relationship. A natural relationship is one between an adult male and an adult woman. Vive la difference!
