Tips for designing Web pages with Microsoft Word

Web designing by Microsoft Word
Thanks to Microsoft for providing me the chance to design my own website quite simply using Microsoft Word
Go on reading here:
If you decided to start web designing by Microsoft Word you should open a new document and save it as webpage (or save as HTML) from the file menu. You'd better name it indexhtm since it will be your home page soon.

Select your website's background color from Format/ Background. At Format/ background/ Fill Effect/ picture you can select your website's background picture.
Start typing. In other words start your fun.
To add picture you can use toolbar or Insert/ picture.
Word provides interesting pictures as well. Try them at Insert/ picture/ Clip Art. If you'd rather use your own pictures click on Form files.
You usually need to place hyper links on your website especially if your site contains more than one webpage.
When you designed your second webpage which plan to place its link on your site's homepage do the following:
First highlight or mark pictures and phrases you want to set them as links to the second page.
Right click and select "Hyperlink" or go to: Insert/ Hyperlink.
Type the direction and the name of the second page.
You are advised to place a link to your homepage on your other WebPages.
Good luck.
