JESUS CHRIST, IS MY SOURCE AND TARGET OF POETIC INSPIRATION

Jesus Christ has bequeathed a wonderful gift to me when He granted me my talent
For Christian Inspirational Poetry.
The old testament book of Psalms gave my poetry wings of flight,
And comforted me on one cold windy winter nights.

The Hour of Power under Doctor Robert H Sculler,
Was my inspiration and my poetic mentor.
In the bygone days of my youth, he helped
Me compose poetry.

I learned to see the world through his
Wise old eyes that penetrated humans
Sorrow and pain, he took my
Poetry to a brand new level and plain.
What a wondrous poetic legacy
Did Robert H. Sculler bequeath to
Amateur poets such as yours truly!

I learned to be a watchful observer

Of the life's that touched mine.
My poetry was sometimes human,
And sometimes divinely inspiration
By the source of eternal youth
And life, Jesus Christ.

The target of poetic inspiration
Was the audience that I wrote for
Friends and family provided my
Poetry an open door.
The game of experience called life,
Consoled me in my lonely days and nights.

Various church congregations and pastors,
Instructed me on the finer points of
Composing inspirational poetry.
They would serve as my editors
Faithfully and never failed to
Have complete confidence in
my natural God given ability.

But first I had to introduce my poetry to them.
Sometimes my poetry was composed based on
Selfish whims. During those trouble times of
My poetic life, I sought comfort from
My beloved Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ, He is the source of
Eternal love and light.
He has reinforced my poetic goal
By assisting me how to help
Redeem fallen mankind's spiritual souls!

Jesus Christ is my candlestick's
Flame that brightens up my poetry,
And will let my poetic light
Shine throughout all of my
Eternity. And soon in His
Awesome presence I will always be.

My mother Eleanor May Dubarry, was my
Co writer and editor too. My
Beloved mother and partner, I owe my
Poetic debt to you. My older sister Lynn
Was always supportive of my poetry,
Even when feelings of self doubt, and
Negativity threatened to destroy me!

Though feelings of remorse may often
Fill my earthly days, I need not be
Ever be afraid for each winter
Turns into Spring.
The song birds sing,
and the trees and the floors
Bloom in a colorful array.

What an awesome display
Are the months of April
And May!
Springtime provides a beautiful source
Of inspiration for me
By bequeathing yours truly,
Poetic immortality!

And because of Springs season
Of rebirth is Jesus Christ's
Free gift to the people of
Planet earth,
My eternally young poetic soul
Will rejoice, and sing
Glory to God my Lord
And King!
