The Gentle Green Dragon
Deep within the forest primeval,
Far away from unbelievers' eyes,
In a magical and secret place,
The gentle, green dragon resides.
Children love this amazing creature,
Who has the bluest sapphire eyes,
Massive wings and metallic green scales,
Gentle and jolly for one his size.
He tells many wonderful stories,
As only this gentle green dragon can,
Of castles, fair princesses, and brave knights,
In far away and mystical lands.
But as is the way with all children,
They will grow up and no longer believe.
And though the dragon is sadden with loss,
More children will come to believe.
