Like cool, cool water
Upon sun scorched land
The sound of your lover
The touch of his hand
Rushes over you like a tidal wave
Each moment getting more than you gave
Loving so strong it explodes from your soul
The more you surrender, the more you're made whole
Eroding selfishness into sand
This is the magic of your lover's hand

Like warm, warm sunshine
Upon rain soaked skin
The hope of a lover
Come true in a friend
Captures all the falling stars in the sky
Each day a blessing, a new gift to try
Blending two lives into one unique creation
Joining two hearts with complete adoration
Loneliness disappearing just like the wind
This is the lover you find in a friend

Like cool, cool water
Droplets to dampen, to entice
You jump headlong in the surf
You don't have to think twice
He's shown the world it's you he has chosen
Thawed your heart when you thought it was frozen
And more's the blessing as each day brings anew
Dreams that will never stop coming true
And oh my God, you never thought it'd feel so nice

With Cool, cool water
On warm, warm skin
The heart of a lover
The soul of a friend
And a river of love
Which knows no end....
