Super Smash Brothers brawl tips and tricks

by Ryan S

As there is already an introduction done (well done by the way), I'll do a light character bio. These are for new players to turn to. They give a quick over-view of the characters. I'll do secret character last, and with a good spoiler allert.

Here is a quickie layout of the bio:
WEIGHT: (how heavy a char is, light medium heavy, extremes)
SPECIALS: (the special moves, I'll use B as the special button)

FINAL SMASH: (The final Smash)
STRENGTHS: (major strengths of the char. Any moves that are spammable)
WEAKNESSES: (major weaknesses)
STAGE: (my opinion what the best stage for this char is. I'll also say what stages you should stay away from)

Today I'll do Meta Knight.

WEIGHT: Seems to be a mid-heavy char
SPECIALS:
Neutral B: Mach tornado. You spin at Mach speed. Tap repeatably to hover/extend the spin. A great way for damage.
Side B: Drill rush. Side-ways spin. You can change the direction (up/down). Again, a great way for damage.
Down B: Dimensional cape. Its a cross teleportation/counter attack. Basically: swirl cape amongst self, invisibly you move up/down/left/right, slash opposition. Basically an improved sidestep.
Up B: Shuttle Loop. You cut up, the loop-the-loop and glide. A recovery move as the damage is minimal.
FINAL SMASH: Galaxy (or Galaxia. It's the name of his cape) Darkness. Some might call this a horrible FS due to its ability to miss. However, it fills the "knock-back" niche of Meta's move-set. Can strike multiple enemies.
STRENGTHS:
- Fast. VERY FAST.
- Standard attack can last forever
- Can fly. Yes, his cape some how magically become bat wings
- Good aerials
- Can juggle
- heavy
- good 1vs1

WEAKNESSES:
-Flight is limited
- Moves don't have good knock-back (aside from FS, but then again, who's FS DOESN'T have a good knock-back)
- Fast-falling
- Standard attack takes a while to complete
- Attacks have Short range
- Attacks are weak (1-2 % damage/swipe usually)
- bad 1vs1vs1vs1

STAGE: A high stage or one with walls. Snake's place (cant remember name) is good. Also, stay away from Final Destination

There you go. My first character bio. Go me.
