Why we make mistakes

If promises are made to be broken, then mistakes are made to be pardoned. We make mistakes everyday throughout our lives, ever since we were born till our own doomsday. Sometimes the same mistakes were made repeatedly whether we realized it or not. Some mistakes are minor and some are major. Minor mistakes are easily forgotten and pardonable while the big mistakes are unforgettable and punishable.

Why we make mistakes? Through mistakes, a person hopefully will learn. Everybody will be pardoned, and they would have promised never to do it again. Even so, naturally one will make that same mistake time and again because promises are meant to be broken.

We make mistakes because there is no escapes from it. When we do something we do not know whether it is right or not. After we knew it is wrong, we will become ignorance. The next minute we will make another mistake. However, a mistake today, can be a right thing tomorrow. While a right thing today can be classified as a mistake tomorrow.

We also make mistakes as a result of our own egoist and stubbornness. When this kind of mistakes is made, people would consider this as stupid mistake; such as, you know speeding is dangerous, but you ignore it, you loved the thrill, and you want to show off until you got a ticket for it, worst when an accident happened.

Bigger mistakes is often made when we are unable to control our mind. We will make big mistakes when we are angry. The mistake can be dangerous and fatal. Is killing another person a mistake? This kind of big mistake is not pardonable. At time after punishment people will still repeat it again. For example, those jail birds for whatsoever crimes, drugs addicts and those addicted to alcohol. When your are to happy or sad mistakes are unavoidable also.

When you make mistakes in your examination paper, this can be due to lack of preparation; you didn't study enough, you are over confidence or answering too hastily. If you make mistakes while taking a driving test, that can be due to lack of practice or nervousness. They would consider all this as silly mistakes. You could have done better.

Truthfully, the minute we open our eyes, a mistake has taken its natural place. Consequently, many things are happening around us, and none is to our liking. It would have been better if we were sleeping throughout. On the other hand, if something better is awaiting us while we were asleep, then we are holding a mistake for not waking up in time to seize the opportunity.
