When you look at me
I know you see things
No body else can see
It's all laid bare
To your thoughtful stare
When you look at me
I'm not half the woman
That I try to be
But in your eyes I belong
It helps me to be strong
And I feel alive
So alive
When you look at me
Time and fate they play a part
Navigators of a journey to the heart
I have been their master.. have been their slave
Have laid my heart to rest, and raised it from the grave
And now all I have to do
Is just look at you
I catch you watching when you think I don't
I catch you falling when you've said you won't
Written there like an angelic prophesy
I see it so clearly
When you look at me
The world spins around
But I'm not afraid
In your eyes there's forgiveness
From mistakes I've made
You pull me from the past
With you I'm free at last
And it's there to find
Your eyes read my mind
When you look at me
I feel the heart inside begin to pound
Once lost, but in your eyes I am found
Paradise is as close as I need it to be
And all you have to do is look at me
I had been broken, been tossed aside
Wounded, defamed and stripped of pride
But there you were with the true heart of a friend
Believing in me when I'm at wits end
You're the beacon.. I'm sailing towards
You are love.. and all it's rich rewards
The dream of love is about to wake me
The courage of love is about to shake me
And I all I have to do
Is just look at you
When you look at me
I know you see a woman
No one else can see
Someone beautiful and kind
Sharp wit, fine mind
A person who has every right
To be spared the fight
And for a little while
I know I can get lost
Inside your smile
A paradise awaits in your soul
The love you give it makes me whole
And I know I'm right where
I was meant to be
I found home
When you looked at me

When you look at me
I'm
I drove alone today on a silver highway,
in the fast lane, same old song on my mind.
New chapter to begin, new tale to tell,
I
What is it you see
As you glance over at me
Am I everything I wish to be
Lovely, wild, careless and free
Am I, to you, simply
by Maria Lucana
I wonder can you see when you look at me,
Can you see what lies within,
Or do you see only what you want to see,
Can you see
When you look at me, I wonder what you see?
What could it be that makes you look at me.
Is it the years worn that now swarm
