Start out hanging on high notes; end up hanging onto threads
Habit in my stomach and an aching in my head tells me its time for bed
Possess all these things, everything I could want but nothing I need
When are you gonna realize it's this cold and lonely bliss I need to feed

Fall for wonder and closed quarters
And all I do is wait for you to exist in my world
But the stars are not aligned
And all you do is wait for pain
The actions come in third between money and self pride
And I die
Slowly but surely, inside.
