Addicted to beginnings and allergic to ends
Send away with me my breath so the fog is unseen
A nickel for love is a nickel for me
So come rescue me from disaster before you leave
Spill my dreams on a canvas and wash over me
Like pills down a throat, like a lost will to cope
Please love, bring me hope before life's lost its focus
Bring me innocence before it is broken
Before it costs me far more than an arm and a leg
I take your insults on the chin until there is no room to win
The remainders are held within yet you remain unscathed
If there is no beginning there is no end; therefore, the beginning must cease to begin
