Contemplating the purpose of life can be looked at in many ways. Firstly, it may be considered from a logical or rational point of view and thus could make an interesting conversation.

However, when this concept is viewed in a persons mind purely as a decision to end ones existence then it becomes a deeper and more serious situation, requiring much thought.

When someone is contemplating the purpose of life, it is time to re-evaluate what makes us smile.

For most, the day in and day out routine of life can at times become monotonous. The strains and struggles that can be unavoidable can bring us to this point; a stand still in what we truly believe is the purpose within.

Are we here to just go forth and multiple, as the bible says. Well, maybe until we get it right and learn to live in harmony as one with nature and excepting ourself, only then may we find happiness.

Perhaps this is why we keep on reproducing ourselves.

Until we have figured out every possible thing there is to understand about what it is to be a human. If we knew the answers to this fully then people would have no desire to reproduce themselves anymore.

Of course, unless you are an alien or have a friend who is an alien, then perhaps you would be more fortunate than most and could possibly know the meaning of life.

Though I guess this would change the scheme of things rather dramatically.

Although of course producers would not be still making movies like Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, or The Meaning of Life by Monty Python. We all know the song always look on the bright side of life.

If you are not a scientist or a film star, it does that mean you cannot contribute to, and understand your world? To live with purpose is to live each day and love each day, enjoy the moments that you can, and deal with what else comes your way.

That to me is life. You get the cards you are dealt and then it is up to you to make your life what you want it to be. For good or bad.

As for the question of purpose, I can only say we need to learn about ourselves and our ability to learn about understand others around us, including the animal and plant kingdoms and how we can all help each other, and live in harmony together.

Technology is in a state of constant advancement. This proves that humans can expand their ability to learn, and create advancement in many areas.

This progressively benefits the existence of human beings today.Just look at the advancement in medicine.

If it were not for the accidental discovery of penicillin to start the ball rolling, we would still be no better off than living in the dark ages.

Of course, unless your parents just did not plan your birth, or if they raised you in a fashion,which was inhumane, then you would possibly have lots more hiccups in your life to fathom out.

Any contemplation about purpose in your life has to do with understanding.

In life we must learn to understand, and, we must educate to understand.

Life for some may just seem like a double edged sword, but the essence to accepting every person as unique and deserving of life,must be treasured by all, for this is existence.
