Personal privacy versus safety

Once you find that some photos of your private life are posted on the web sites, you will understand that the modern technology has increase the exposure of your privacy dramatically. It is not a matter of a single person. There are too many of them.

What's worse, some important personal information, such as credit card number, mail address, email address, is exposed, too. The problem of piracy is becoming more and more serious, which requires our attention and measures to combat against the illegal exposure of our privacy. We don't know when our privacy was stolen. It frustrated us when we make great efforts to protect our privacy.

There are some other examples: when a new product in invented or produced, its pirated counterpart will soon put on its appearance in the market soon after it comes out in the market. If you produce a famous brand MP3, you will find some others are copying it, too. Though there are patent laws to protect it from being copied, it just happens again and again, particularly in the developing countries. Piracy has caused a great loss to legitimate producers, inventors and writers in this sense.

Talking about the privacy on the web sites, there are always statements like this:
This web site will protect the confidentiality of personal information, and guardians should bear the primary responsibility for privacy. The website collects the personal information, but such information will not be retained for further use. Without a guardian's consent, the site will not use the personal information, or disclose to any third party.

However, we just find that the privacy is here and there: yours, mine and the others. There must be strict laws established to safeguard our privacy, including personal life and patent of products. To persons, it causes great harm to them if their privacy exposed; to some products, the exposure and violation of the patent rights will cause great losses to the business of products.

Therefore, it is the high time that everyone should launch the battle against the illegal exposure of the piracy. It is important to safeguard our private information.
