Tangled web of broken dreams,
life is never what it seems.
Obstacles from every side,
wishing things more simplified.
Never thinking it's good enough,
calling God out on his bluff.
Praying for miracles, wishing for peace,
there never seems to be any release.
Humbled by fear and lifted by hope,
seeing yourself through a telescope.
Another star in the universe falls,
in the end will we be nothing at all?

or scourge my body red

there is no gravestone
Dreamer
What would he say?
If he were here now?
Would he bow his head in thanksgiving for seeing how far we've come?
Would
by Cathy Wilson
One shouldn't strive to just exist.
That's easily done, an empty shell in an ocean of wonder.
How did we come to exist?
We are here to make our mistakes
for if we do not
we could not evolve,
and there would be no reason
for us to be.
We are
Sun sets amidst tainted grey clouds,
Barren trees lay still,
as birds seek refuge in emptiness.
Headlight s grace trampled hard
