Lollipops And Candy Canes
As I fall into a deep sleep
I dream of cotton candy clouds,
The sweetness is so soft
The taste would draw some crowds.
I parachuted downward
To the sweet streets and lanes,
Where gumdrops are huge
With lollipops and candy canes.
I'm in this candy land
Where sidewalks are sweet,
Skyscrapers are tootsie rolls
Hot tamales pave the street.
Sugar babies make a rock pile
Jelly beans are a kaleidoscope,
Black and red licorice
Make a colorful twisted rope.
If this is my dream
Then I hope one day to find you,
For you are the sweetest treat
To me, this is true.
In this land of sweets
Of lollipops and candy canes,
I want your love to be as sweet
Or I'll never be the same.
