by some evil aliens called Rangooos and they needed some help getting them back, so I helped them. And in exchange the Professor gave me the intergalactic zapper. Since then I've saved Planet Trixia from a deadly virus, rescued some baby Googlies from their planet when it exploded, and stopped a war between Planet Grunt and Planet Klingkling. I help aliens when they are in trouble. I guess you could say I'm an intergalactic space agent."

"...but you're only thirteen!"

Adam shrugged. "It doesn't matter. Sarah, I'm good at it."

Sarah stared at him in shock. Until five minutes ago she had thought her brother was a normal thirteen year old boy. He hated school and vegetables, loved sports and computer games, and argued with her about what to watch on TV, and now she finds out that in his spare time he is zapping around the Universe saving aliens and planets. It was quite a lot to take in.

"Come on. Eat your burger. It is the best in the Universe, you know."

He unwrapped one and handed it to her, so she took a bite. It was meaty and juicy, with a tangy relish, and stuffed full of cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. It was quite definitely the best burger she had ever tasted.

"See, told you. Try some fries they're also pretty good. And then after lunch, I'll take you on a tour of the Universe."

It wasn't until four Earth hours later, when they finally zapped back into Adam's bedroom after saving a Frangolian spaceship from colliding with Planet Zob, that eleven year old Sarah realised her new career as an intergalactic space agent had just begun.
