There are many computer card games offered online. Most of them cost money, but they will offer free trial runs to let you see if you care to purchase it. These card games don't seem to have a large variety of games to play however. Majority of them will be based on the card game Solitaire. There are a number of computer games that allow you to play with others as well as letting you play alone.

MSN offers many card games. 5 Realms of Cards is a solitaire game where you must help Princess Jokerine restore peace and beauty. You can access five card realms which has up to 70 storybook levels. This game can either be timed or not as you choose. If you want to try the game for free before purchasing it for $19.95 then you could get up to 40 minutes free.

Hardwood Solitaire Deluxe offers over 100 solitaire games. This game also has 3D graphics and music. You can purchase the game for $19.95 or try it for free for less than 20 minutes. Aloha Tri Peaks is another solitaire-type game. It has 70 levels to play and two modes which is either normal or advanced playing. Various beach sound are also added to the games effects along with beach backgrounds for each level. You can purchase this game for $14.99 and up or try the free trial first for less than an hour.

5 Card Frenzy is a poker-style and solitaire game combined. It gives five rows of cards to start out with. There are up to 99 levels and it allows you to compete against other players. You can pause the game and continue it later when playing alone. There's a free trial of up to 7 minutes only on this game. Otherwise, you can purchase it for $19.95. Another poker-type card game is Poker Superstars 2 where you can face off against other players.

There are all sorts of various card games to play online, but these are some of the better ones. There seems to be a new one created monthly so always check out yahoo or msn for the latest games offered. Many of them will give a free trial before you purchase it. Some are free as well. If you are into playing online card games I would recommend the games mentioned above.
