I miss your breath,

I yearn for your clandestine voice
And, given the choice,
I'd have you by my side.
I'll admit you had to go.
There's nothing for you,
Here in Buffalo,
But it does not ease the regret
Of things not done yet.
I guess I'll just have to abide
And think of what could be.
Our chorus and verse,

A duet, notes intertwine,
