There is a family of spiders that live in my house
That we seem unable to escape.
There is one in particular that seems to come often
Scaring my daughter away
We hear her yell "Spider!" as she runs all around
And we just don't know what to think.
We ask her to tell us about this spider
And all she says is "It was pink"
A pink spider? I wondered
Is she just playing a game?
"Tell me more," I ask of her
And she told me "White is its name."
What is this? What can this be?
I just wanted this nonsense to end
But who would've thought a pink spider
Would be her a imaginary friend?
