Being an American is a blessing to say the least, and with so much great American cuisines to choose from it is hard to say just which American food is my favorite. The first American foods that come to mind are of course the hamburger, hot dog and meatloaf. I also think about fried chicken, potato salad, cornbread and so much more.

Personally of all the American food that I have had, and mind you that is plenty, I would have to give it the Hamburger! Who does not love the All-American Hamburger? Add some cheese and we call it a Cheeseburger, either way it is a classic American food that will never die out.

I recall having barbecues growing up and my dad always grilling hamburgers and hot dogs while my mother was in the house making up a batch of her famous potato salad and sometimes even coleslaw. We loved to have barbecues and that traditions continues to live on with my children. It is always a great time to get the barbecue going and enjoy some All-American food!

Just the smell of a barbecue reminds me of those fantastic summer days when we would have the whole family over for a barbecue. We all loved eating, talking and enjoying each others company and we still do. Maybe I am to All-American for some, but I am proud of it!

Hamburgers are a traditional American food that I think just about any red blooded American loves! Even if you are carb conscious you have create a burger all your own with lettuce in place of the bread.

Of all the burger joints in this country I have to say that In-And-Out is the winner for the best burger around. They stick to fresh ingredients which makes for the best tasting burgers around. Just thinking about it has got me craving a good old fashioned burger!

Growing up American in the first place I know that I am blessed and I appreciate all that is American! We are spoiled her with a fast food joint on every corner and a Starbucks right there as well. We are a country that loves to eat as you can tell!

So as you can tell my ultimate favorite American food goes to the Hamburger! I would have to say that is simply becasue they are delicious and a classic American food I grew up with. Besides that it is one of the best foods to have at any barbecue and a food that everyone, or just about everyone enjoys.

Even if you are a vegan or a vegetarian there are so many meatless burger options that you can still enjoy a great burger today!
