The National Football Team of Brazil or better known with the name "Selecao" is the most successful team in the F.I.F.A. World Cup Tournaments of all time (Number 1 Football Team). Won the World Cup 5 times, most times than other national football team, and is the only country that took place in all World Cups Finals. Brazil also won the COPA America 8 times, the Confederation Cup 2 times and distinguished in the Olympic Games 3 times.
Brazil has participated in all FIFA World Cup Tournaments and won the trophy 5 times (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, 2002), 2 times finished in the second place (1950, 1998), 2 times in the third place (1938 and 1978) and 1 time in the forth place (1978). Brazil ranks at the first place in the general classification of FIFA. Brazil has also organized the World Cup Tournament 1 time (1950).

Unfortunatelly since now, Brazil did not manage to won the olympic gold medal. it is the only trophy missing from the rich collection. So, won 2 silver medals 1984 in Los Angeles and 1988 in Seul) and 2 bronze medals (1996 in Atlanta and 2008 in Beijing).
