Flirting tips for lesbians

Well ladies, if you're like me and most of the other lesbians I meet you would prefer to sit there and look pretty. Hoping that the beautiful stranger from across the way will work up the nerve that you lack to come and ask you to dance. I'm sorry to break it you, but we're not at a 6th grade dance anymore, with all the boys on one side of the gym and all the girls on the other. First of all, the boys are gone and secondly, it's time to make the first move.

It sounds really simple, so simple that it actually works and I'm here to share with you my secrets of success. What I'm about to tell you works whether or not you're in a gay establishment. Although you might feel more comfortable trying this out in your local lesbian bar the first few times, it does work just as well any where.

It all begins before you even walk out of your front door. Make sure you're wearing whatever makes you comfortable and confident. If that means a fedora or a baseball cap, go for it. If it means rocking 4 inch stiletto heels and red lipstick than by all means. But it is imperative that when you look at yourself in the mirror you feel like you can take on the world.

Once you're looking and feeling good the next thing is how you walk into whatever establishment you're going to grace with your presence that night. Even if you're walking in alone, walk in like you own the joint. Head held high, shoulders back, a little swagger and a slight, confident upturn at the corner of your lips. Nothing opens more doors than a genuine smile.
But more than smiling with your lips, smile with your eyes. When you look at someone, really look at them. Let your eyes glance down to their lips for a split second while they're talking. Then back up to their eyes. Practice making everyone you talk to feel like they're the only ones in the room.

Order a drink and be friendly with the bartender if possible. It always helps the confidence when you can establish a sense of belonging and even a friendly hello with the bartender, promoter, or bouncers can give you that.

Next pick a spot where you can see and be seen. Don't hide in dark corners. Sit at the bar where you can see who's coming in. Or better yet, sit where you can see who's going to the ladies room. There's always a long line and I swear I get hit on more there than anywhere all night.

After you get the lay of the land start picking out one or two ladies you think you might want to talk to. If they're with a group of friends,
