A blackness reigns
Supreme control
I am merely a pawn
Under a kings command
It rules my life
And I live within
A constant battle
To reach the light
From its dark depths
Flickers of hope
Bright lights on a day
A callous switch
To the next nightmare
To fight
Its hard
I live in hope
To escape the imprisonment
That binds me so close
