Verse 1
I knew it when I saw those sad brown eyes,
there was a wrong you needed to right.
The hesitation in your kisses and comfort,
made me realize what you had done.
I knew you were lying,
there was something you were hiding,
as I sat alone in darkness I thought:
Chorus
I'm stronger then this and I deserve better,
I won't let you break me apart.
If there's someone else your wanting,
Go ahead and have her
I'll give you back the keys to your heart.
I'd like if you would just go,
because I don't want you anymore.
Verse 2
On the phone your voice was so awkward,
It was shaky from the lies, guilt, and shame.
You said not to worry but I had to,
and told you drive here right away.
I knew you were lying,
and I knew what you were hiding.
So I sat outside waiting and thought:
Chorus
I'm stronger then this and I deserve better,
I won't let you break me apart.
If there's someone else your wanting,
Go ahead and have her.
Please take back the keys to your heart.
I'd like it if you would just go
because I don't love you anymore.
Verse 3
I want you to know that I'm happy,
there was someone else for me to love.
I hope that kharma came back on you,
because as a boyfriend you really did suck.
I know you're still lying,
and probably still hiding.
At least now its with her because I'm gone.
I was stronger than you
I have someone better.
You did not succeed at breaking my heart.
I'm glad that she won you,
I'm sure now she knows better
and sees why I decided to part
I had to make you go
I'm so glad I don't know you anymore.
