The ethics behind oil prices

Generally speaking, most of us have natural sense of ethics especially with regard to the level we expect from others. We tend to expect a higher degree of ethical behavior from others than we do from our selves as a matter of basic human nature. It's so much easier individually to point the finger at someone else and much more difficult accept it when it is targeted toward us. Add our expectations to the crowd mentality of people, also natural, as they acquire news from various source throughout any given day. A majority of news content, by design, is directly associated to our individual need for ethics. Journalists count on mixture to keep us coming back for more. Our ethics-based reactions are the aftertaste of news outlets.
