Writing on Helium doesn't have to be a complicated thing, however there are a few things that will help make your writing and you a more successful here on Helium. Helium has a revenue sharing model (that as of yet they have not revealed exactly how it works), that allows you to get a portion of Helium's revenue from your content. On the Internet content is how you make the money. The more content you have the more traffic you will draw and the more money you will make from any and all of your advertisers. Helium shares that money with you (and me). However, many people want to know, "How do I make more on Helium?"

Write Your Best.
No one sets out to write a bad article. You want to write one that is rated in the top, and not the bottom. To do this, write your best. Proof read it and make sure it is free of grammatical errors, spelling, and typos. Also check to make sure that it is in a logical order and includes all the details that it needs and doesn't ramble on too much about unimportant things.

Write What You Know.
While it is a good idea to write a lot on Helium, it also helps to write what you know. This will help you write a better organized article that is clear and focused. It will also help you avoid having to hunt for more to say on an article that is too short to meet the word minimum.

Write a Lot.
It is not enough to write a single article, or a small handful of articles and sit back and expect your Helium earnings to replace the income you had from the real job you decided to quit when you found this site. It just doesn't work that way. A good expectation according to many Helium writers is to write a lot and once your reach 100 articles, expect to make an average of 8-12 cents an article. On a hundred articles that is about 8-12 dollars a month. This really isn't much and to bring in a nice sized passive income it is best to aim for 2000+ articles, but you still aren't replacing your day job with that!

Evaluate Your Articles.
As time goes by you will see the articles that consistantly make the most money. For example 6-8 of my top 10 money makers each month are articles from the jewelry making section (yep, I just told you one area you can make money from). I sometimes have a hard time writing articles there that don't take pictures, but I make the most money from them and therefore try hard to write lots of articles in that category. Other big money makers for me are holistic health were I write about home remedies. You will see that you have certain
