Poetry: Storms

Thunder and rain
hurtful words dont matter
I choose to forgive
I dont think on them
anymore they are gone as if never spoken
as far as the east is from the west
God
forgives my sins
how can I hold yours against you then
I cant
I bless you and you are free
and I am free
a rainbow reaches across
a sunny sky free of clouds
