Today is my youngest sons birthday he is just turning 10 and we have exactly 15 children here to help him celebrate his birthday.
My house is very small, only 540 square feet,i bedroom living-room,kitchen and a crawlspace for a basement.
Sure hope it doesn't rain,I said to my husband Steve.
As of right now there were only a few dark clouds foaming in the sky and a forecast saying a chance of storms later in the afternoon,so hopefully we can get this party over with before the rain comes.
The kids were outside running all over playing a game of tag, when we heard the distant thunder.
Steve said well Hun it is better to be safe than sorry we better get the kids in before we get a downpour,so I started calling them to come into the house when a flash of lightning lite up the sky.
Everyone including me screamed and the kids swarmed me at the door to the house.
Hang on everyone I said, you all can't fit in the door at one time, but somehow, they all managed.

Just as the last child was put down into the basement a big gust of wind flew through the house and I raced over and shut the kitchen window just in time to see the funnel shaped cloud moving our way.
I said nothing,I headed to the fusebox switched off the power, then grabbed my purse ,cat and my dog and headed for the basement.
Steve said, whats going on the power is off,I said no I shut it off,to make it more scary down here for the kids.
He knew I never would do that, but he looked in my eyes and saw I was really afraid.I got downstairs just as the wind roared and the house started to shake.
As I closed the trap door,I knew we were in for one heck of a storm and prayed we would remain safe.
The boys were all huddled in a corner, until my husband got out the flashlights and gave each one a flashlight.
They each put the
