Is Britney Spears' career over? Britney's crazy behavior, bad driving and flashing of body parts has been well documented by paparazzi. Many say Britney Spears can't make a come back. Don't fret Britney. Several celebrities have walked in your designer shoes whose careers remain strong.

Anne Heche is currently starring in ABC's Men in Trees. But after her split with Ellen DeGeneres in August 2000 Anne Heche's antics made Britney Spears look tame in comparison.

Anne Heche drove 5 hours from Los Angeles to Fresno to board a spaceship that required a hit of Ecstasy to enter. Anne thought God spoke to her and told her she was the reincarnation of God on this earth. She spent the night strapped to a gurney in the psychiatric unit of a Fresno hospital.

The next day after a plea from her manager to come back to reality she miraculously was sane again. Not exactly turning water into wine, but she did turn the whole thing into a book deal. Her autobiography, Call Me Crazy, detailed this event and more. Perhaps Britney Spears could write her own book, she could call it "(You drive me)Crazy" after her song.

Britney Spears was booked in October 2007 for leaving the scene of an accident. Britney hit a parked car but didn't leave a note. This brings to mind another celebrity who was charged with the same thing.

In February 2000 Halle Berry was involved in an accident where she left the scene. Halle suffered a head injury which is her excuse for not staying for the police. Halle pled no contest for the misdemeanor charge. She had to do community service and pay a fine.
Two years later Halle Berry went on to become the first African American woman to receive an Oscar for Best Actress for her role in Monster's Ball.

If Britney's lawyer is as good as Halle's she might not do jail time either. Who knows maybe in a few years Britney will be accepting her own Oscar for Crossroads two.

Another publicized Britney Spears moment showed Britney flashing the world while exiting a car. Britney's infamous short skirt and no panties picture was paparazzi gold. Tales of her topless partying soon hit the tabloids. Is all this nudity the end of Britney's career? Not if she is anything like another famous singer who bared all.

Madonna posed for playboy, and also bared all in a coffee table book. Madonna's book SEX released in 1992 sold all 1.5 million copies within a week. The book was highly explicit showing soft-core pornographic pictures. Madonna received many protests and several book stores refused to carry it. Much like Britney, many speculated that Madonna might not survive the backlash.

However in 1994 with Madonna's release of "I'll Remember" Madonna was once again in the American publics good graces. The song hit #2 on the charts. Madonna went on to be named the "World's Most- Successful Female Musician" by the Guinness Book of World Records.
Madonna was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 10, 2008 by Britney's ex Justin Timberlake.

With the right song Britney Spears could get back on top. Someday she could be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by Madonna's ex Sean Penn.

Britney Spears career is not over yet. She could still make a comeback. All Britney needs is the right manager, lawyer and song. Britney's latest release "Break the Ice" has had critical acclaim. The critics like her but Britney really needs public support to make that comeback. Britney did it once. Maybe soon she will be saying "I did it again".
