The Philadelphia Eagles are one of the oldest teams in the history of the nfl,and though there have been several exciting and proud moments the team, coaching staff, management, and of course the loyal die hard fans have no Superbowl Championship installed into their minds.
When people ask me how i can be loyal to a team that can at times dissapoint i tell them
the simple truth. You don't get to choose your team. Your team chooses you. The
Philadelphia Eagles choose me and i love it. When that superbowl win finally occurs
I will be the first to hop on a float and commence the parade. All the heartbreak
will simply make that moment in Eagles and NFL history that much sweeter.
The Philadelphia Eagles are about 1-2 players short of contending for that all elusive
prize once again. They have a healthy McNabb. They have Westbrook. They have Samuel,Dawkins,
Mikkel,Sheppard,Sheldon,Bunkley,Cole,Clemens,Thoma s, and the NFL's best defense. Every
Eagles fan Knows the wide reciever corps is unacceptable by any teams standards.
Also the team will need another offensive lineman to compete with Herremans. And yes
a safety to become the understudy of our legendary Brian Dawkins. Since most free agent
talent has passed look for the Eagles to accomplish what is necessary to fill in the
missing pieces to become a contender once again. And yes i wouldn't be surprised if the
Eagles added chose two recievers in this years draft.

My Mock Draft

1st Round - WR Limas Sweed / Early Doucet/ Andre Caldwell/ Mario Manningham

2cd Round - WR James Hardy(if still around)/ Adrian Arrington

3rd Round - FS Josh Barret

4th Round- Ol Bryan Smith

5th Round- DT/DE Marcus Dixon

6th Round- CB/KR Brian Witherspoon

7th Round- WR Pierre Garcon , could be a Marques Colston. Has size, speed, good hands,
and can also return kicks. He is my surprise pick.

A good draft like this fills some future holes and will help fill in the immediate ones at WR
and OL. I expect the Eagles to have a draft that will bolster these positions and other
positions and have such a draft that they will be able to contend for the Superbowl.
