It began in the 1970's when cows were turning up dead. They weren't just dead, but mutilated and marked with floresant paint. Some cows had hearts taken out while others were stripped of their fur. We first heard about it in America, but it has been happening everywhere. Many people believe that it is aliens that are mutilating our cows.

Farmers would begin to wake up in the morning and find that their cows had died over night. These cows were cut open with precise and neat incisions. Tissue around the cut would show that the cuts were created with lasers. Doctors and officials who examined the area where the animal died always confirmed that there was no evidence of any struggle. Animals near the dead corpse were known to become fearful and grow agitated. They would not go near the corpse, not even scavengers.

It wasn't just cows that ended up dead, but other animals as well. A horse in 1971 was autopsied after found dead due to some bizarre cutting. The autopsy showed that all of its vital organs was drained of blood.

These mutilations tend to happen in UFO hot spots. Cows near Area 51 all turned up mutilated. New Mexico had a lot of attention for cow mutilation as did Canada. Not all mutilations are a mystery. Many cults began to tear open cows, but were quickly caught. The FBI did take part in this phenomena, but in a different way. They believed all the mutilations were being done by cults and UFO fanatics. They were more interested in catching these people rather than admitting the possibility of UFO activity.

People saw these mutilations as an act of an UFO. There are those who claim black unmarked helicopters are to blame, but that just doesn't add up. These animals are being dissected and left with missing organs.

No one can explain who is doing this to our live stock. No one can say why it is being done. A lot of people will confess that they believe it is aliens and that the aliens are doing this for knowledge. Their using our animals to conduct experiments and study our behavior and lives. Whatever one believes, alien or not, you have to admit that this is one bizarre story that will keep the world guessing.
