The great delusion

The strongest are naturally selected
Aligned in rows and injected
Subordinates in training for the future ahead
Conditioned as workers and chemically bred

A selected selection seduces their style
Perfectly perfected and programmed to smile
Controlled education force-fed to a child
So auto suggestion controls them awhile

Pre-emptive assaults on the life of civilians
The filthy rich murder then hide behind millions
The populace gobbles down misinformation
Those who dare question get alienated

The path to fulfillment is littered with games
Preacher's known only to guide us to flames
We trust the media to speak to our minds
Ignorance building is no longer a crime

Our well-being sabotaged and openly infested
They want us home sick and medicine dependent
Those who need help are no longer protected
The laws made to punish because crime's an investment

Democracy and moral laws don't exist
We give them our money and receive bytes and bits
Your freedom of speech is a freedom to think
But openly use it and you might just get lynched

In front of our faces and outside that door
It's hard to imagine we're inside a war
If you sit and ponder on these words too long
You will come to know there's something going on
