Finding casting calls for reality TV

Are you dying to get on a reality TV show? If so, doing it isn't as hard as you think. Just:

Sign up for the websites of channels that sponsor reality TV shows.
> MTV, Vh1 and other channels are always looking for ways to capitalize on their lucrative reality TV show format. As a result, if you sign up on their websites, you'll get the "casting call" first. They'll e-mail you about their newest reality TV show idea or that it's time to replenish their old ones with new people. It's one of the easiest ways to get first dibs on getting on TV.

Google the words "casting call" and "reality TV."
> This method requires bi-monthly checks to make sure you meet "casting call" deadlines, but it's an easy way to find out what's going on. It works well because the internet has become a gateway to getting out all kinds of information to the public. Also, "Google" is the popular place that most people go to in order to find things on the net.

Get an agent.
> Did you know that most of the people on reality TV shows are actors and actresses? Yes! These people are there because some agent convinced them to audition for a part. You can do it too. Just go to your local yellow pages and find one. They'll be happy to oblige you.

Look for TV ads.
> A lot of reality TV creators will advertise their need for participants on TV ads. These ads give details on how to connect up with them. What's your job? Staying alert and keeping a pen and pad handy. By doing this, you can jot down the details and get ready for the "open call."

Chat it up with friends.
> You can go onto "chat" lines designated for reality TV or just TV in general. It'll help you meet other people of like-mind who want to get on reality TV just like you. You both will be able to help each other stay on top of potential open calls for old and new reality TV shows.

Now you know five ways to get to that all important "open call" for a reality TV show. What's the last suggestion? Stay diligent! Don't give up. If you keep on top of things, you might just get your turn at being a reality TV star.
