A guide to surviving your relationship

boss who you probably don't even like determine your fate? Ahem, all in favor say no...NO! But let's keep it professional here. Don't mingle in your new lovers' work affairs. If talking to a co-worker of the opposite sex bothers you, this is a big no-no relationship for you. But if you're in complete control with understanding that in order to get certain work related answers you must absolutely speak to that hot guy or gal co-worker, then the office relationship will suit you just fine. Don't let jealousy take over a cool cat like you!

Now for all of you lucky love birds who found something long term, let me tell you to please, please, please do not forget the romance. And here is where I will stress it the most. It's easy to get comfortable. It's easy to follow routine. It's easy to discuss marriage and children and grandchildren and houses and cars and...you get the picture. You'll get there, but enjoy one another. Say, "I love you," everyday. Buy gifts and not large expensive gifts, I mean really meaningful gifts that say, "I appreciate you in every way." Talk. About your history together and laugh about it.

It's OK to be different from one another, as long as you have reciprocated respect between the two parties for the two parties in any type of relationship.

Good luck!
