If I let my true feelings show
What will come to pass?
If I tell the boss she stinks,
Will she can my ass?
If I tell my grandma that
I really hate her food,
Will she become depressed
And have a dampened mood?
What about best friend, Betsy,
and her jerky boyfriend?
If I express my disgust
That would mean our friendship's end.
Perhaps it best to remember
My dear old mom's advice:
It's simply best to keep quiet
If you can't say something nice.
