A guide to surviving your relationship

A relationship will not survive without a bit of determination and a lot of hard work. No matter what sort of relationship you are experiencing, whether it be long-distance or short, on-line on at-work, each person must push a little and pull a little, to negotiate solutions to problems, and to ultimately make your relationship sturdy and fair. We should all look at ourselves to decide whether we are leaders or followers, if we are dismissive, devoid of emotion, detached, or on the other hand, clingy, needy and desperate. We, when looking for a relationship in the first place, should look at what, or whom, we should be with to even us out and balance the relationship. Two personalities of the same type are bound to clash at regular intervals in the relationship, but with organization and give-and-take, this type of relationship can often prove to be successful as each person learns to give the other their own space and time. If you see a fight coming, do not avoid it, as that is sure to just delay the fight until later on, and there is no procrastinating when it comes to the feelings of our loved ones. It is only fair that any argument or disagreement should be discussed in an appropriate fashion so as to be fair to both parties. Try to get these problems sorted and out of the way, before they evolve and prove to be a weight on the relationship. Of course, in a long-distance relationship there has to be a lot of trust and honor, loyalty and, of course, love. If a long-distance relationship is to work, then you must remember to trust the person, and know that you are putting yourself into the situation in which you will be...Do you really trust this person enough? Can you be loyal to this person? If you can answer yes to both of those questions, then you are certainly on the correct path to a blissful relationship. The same goes with an on-line relationship... Do you know the person is who and what they say they are, and if so, how well do you know them? What are you looking for in a partner? Can this person, and this type of relationship, survive in your life? Many people find love each and everyday, and many people also everyday realize that there is more to a relationship than meets the eye, it takes, as I previously said, Determination and Hard Work to make something so wonderful work, no matter what type of relationship is in question, there is a lot of give-and-take that goes into a successful relationship. This includes friendly relationships with work-mates and neighbors too. Did not the Lord say, love thy neighbor? If we were all to practice a little patience and forgiveness, a little understanding, then we would all find relationships a lot easier to create and maintain.
