Spiritual steps to positive thinking

The spiritual part of your life is the most important part of a life, and in living your life based on a spiritual aspect, then you will likely live a positive fulfilling lifetime. The problem with today's society is that we are taking away our spiritual rights, and in taking the spiritual part out of a life, you are destined to have a negative reflection on those that are living there lives without a spiritual part or side included. The negative world we live in reflects a negative reflection that proves our spiritual parts of our lives are no longer as they should be, and in finding and gaining back your spiritual side or part of your life, you will then be whole and complete, and the positives will once again reflect our world's image that mankind makes and leaves upon this world we share. Read the following article, Walking in the Light, and you'll understand the lengths and importance of spirituality in your life, and then in finding this spirituality, the life you live should show as a positive life.

Walking in the Light
Light exposes; darkness hides. Walking in the light means we are open to the truth, open to God's. Word, and open to biblical correction from a brother. But if the light is witheld from shining into all corners of our heart, we are walking through darkness in our life journey. "But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatrsoever doth make manifest is light" (Ephesians 5:13) If we have a defensive spirit when reproved, we are walking in the darkness in lifes path through the journey of our life. By allowing God's word or a brother to uncover our carnal nature to us, we are then walking in the light, for God is our guiding light to guide us through our life. In Psalms 139:23-24, David is told God to search him, to shine his light into all corners of his heart. David realized that he had a lot of hidden motives and sins that he needed to be sanctified from.

When the prophet Nathan reproved him, David did not defend himself. He let God's light shine in and uncover his heart and sin. David was walking in the light. David could have argued that someone had to be in the rront lines of the war, and that he hadn't really murdered Uriah. Had it not been Uriah, someone else would have been killed. By defending himself, he would have been walking in darkness. But instead he repented (see Psalm 51). Saul, on the contrary, defended himself and blamed the people for taking the spoil that needed to be destroyed. He was walking in darkness (see 1 Samuel 15:19-21). The scribes and Pharisees hated God's light beam. It uncovered them. They loved to walk in the shadows to keep their deeds and motives hidden. Am I walking in light or in darkness? The true light now shineth. - 1 John 2:8 This is the moral and values of a lifetime that God gives us to live. He wants us to find our guiding light in living the life through him and his ways, and in finding God in your life, your life will be complete and fulfilling in all riches, now as well as the eternal life you will gain in living this life as God ask us and wants us to.
