Poetry: Green

Green eyes like
a reckless sea
beacon me.

I feel them mesmerizing
me. I am sinking into
depths unknown.

Willingly I surrender.

My heart searches for
a safe haven.

But gives in to
the deep fathomless
green.

Can't help but
follow.

Will I be tossed
ashore? I don't know.

But I will follow
those green eyes
calling me.
