the august moon
shines down on me,
like liquid silver
on the sea.
like molten gold,
against the sky.
and i haven't felt this good
since last july.
a child on the edge of time.
august is my month of birth.
a crystal, an indigo
who dared to come to earth.
from a galaxy far from here
another milky one.
in space, in time,
far beyond the sun.
