7. RELAX
Yoga and Pilates are two recognised forms of relaxing mind and body and they both come highly recommended. Switch off, breathe deep, stretch and relax. It's amazing how just a few minutes following these simple rules can invigorate you. Tension in mind and body go hand in hand, so let it out.

8. TREAT PEOPLE RIGHT
If you have a good heart and a clear conscience you'll sleep better, argue less and live a happier life. More importantly you will also have self respect, crucial to a sense of wellbeing.

9. HAVE A MANTRA
This is like a strapline for your healthy lifestyle. It could be anything from "do the right thing", to "I want a new man/woman". Whatever it takes to remind yourself to stay strong. Each time you ponder whether to have another chocolate or if you can be bothered to go for a run, the strapline will be triggered and it will help you make the right decision.

10. COUNT YOURSELF LUCKY
Anyone who has their health, a roof over their head and food to eat should consider themselves very lucky. Once you appreciate that your health and lifestyle are a privilege, you will begin to treat yourself and others with more respect - the first step towards a healthy mind and body.
