Is Christianity dying out?

Christianity is not so much dying out as it is being murdered. As a Christian, I am resentful of those who have decided it is politically incorrect to advertise one's faith in Jesus Christ in any way, shape, or form. I am torn between being a servant of God and a messenger of the Good News and conforming to political expectations of watering down my beliefs to not offend someone.

When did it become discourteous or unthoughtful to say "Merry Christmas" during the holidays? Why must I curb my enthusiasm and say "Happy Holidays" instead?

Why have our holidays turned into merchandising and marketing opportunities instead of a time to reflect on things pertaining to our souls instead of the flesh? I love the shopping, the parties, the decorations, and all the commercialism of Christmas as much as the next person. But I also believe that it is good for the soul to get off this treadmill that keeps going around and around without ever arriving at any destination. Get off the treadmill and realize who you are in the grand scheme of the universe.

Without my faith in God and Jesus Christ as my savior, I would feel very small and insignificant. I would feel that my hopes and fears, my pain and suffering, and my achievements and triumphs meant little or nothing in the grand scheme of the universe. I would believe that millions have passed before me and millions will come after me. Of what value am I? But because of my faith, I believe I am important. I believe what I do, how I live my life, what happens to me, and how I treat others matters. Because God sent His son to live like man, to experience what we experience, and to die and suffer for us, we have an opportunity for a personal relationship with God, a God who understands us, knows our struggles, forgives us, and not only promises a life of blessings but tells us we deserve an abundant life. He promises us that there is no problem we cannot overcome if we have faith. There is no sin that cannot be absolved and washed from us if we come to God with remorse and a sincere heart. Without the example of Christ's unconditional love and forgiveness, who am I to model my behavior after? If He had not been able to live a life as a humble man with all the struggles and temptations, would I feel a personal connection with Him? If He had not been able to face fear, temptation, and abandonment without giving in to it, would I have any hope that I could deal with these things myself? How would I find answers for the many moral dilemmas
