beach roses, smell like love;
blooming like body heat.
wearing pink, silky, petal gloves,
and sand socks on their feet.
as lovers tumble in secret places,
like the motion of the sea.
a radiant glow upon their faces;
this love was meant to be.

with ice cream and lemonade,
then vanishes way too soon.
